 A Great Weekend Getaway in Delaware - Lums Pond

A state park and campground nestled in Bear, DE.   A very short drive from the Maryland boarder, this is nestled in a nicely wooded area.

Its a very laid back campground when we were there.  Sites are fairly spread out and there are mix of sites for trailers (Fifth Wheel and Travel), tents and Yurts.    Sites are all full hookups and mostly are all flat.   Each site has a fire pit.

Lots of green space in between.    The lake is very large.  Probably about a 2-3 hour walk around, if you were to give it a try.  

The bath house is very clean and plenty of individual bathrooms with showers.

There are washers and dryers on site with a borrow book space if you need some reading to pass the time.

The sunrise is a beautiful thing if you start the day early.
